Great I am interested, is there any way you could get it to Mississippi? If you can I would love to see some pics.

For pics look here. http://www.angstkayak.com/otherboats/urge/index3.htmlBefore even considering trying to get it Mississippi, I noticed from another post that you are about 6'2". If so you may not fit well in this boat. At 5'11" , 195 lbs with a 31 inseam and size 11s I think I'm at about the upper limit. Do you know much about this design? It's not a typical squirt boat.

I was thinking inseam wise I might just fit as I read 33" was the Max and I measured myself at 32.5". But I mostly wear 34" inseam pants so I think you are right that it may be too tight. Is the issue that because its so short the foot bumps end quite abruptly, so a little too long is a lot more uncomfortable? Where do your feet sit in the foot bumps? I wear size 11 shoes and have narrow feet. Weight wise I actually only weigh 173 so have room to play with there, I am not really wanting a downtime boat so a little extra volume doesn't worry me too much. Thanks for your previous honest feedback, do you think with my stats I would not be a good fit for this boat?

I think you would definitely want to try it out for fit before investing in it. Since you are only 173 lbs you might be able to move the seat back some and still be balanced. My feet are right up in the bumps - kind of wish I had a little more room but I can't move the seat back at my weight. It is a fun little boat.
I don't have any plans to be in Mississippi in the near future. Any chance you might be out in the DC area anytime? I'm hoping to go to the Cheatfest in WV in the spring and bring the boat to try to sell it there. Let me know if you think there is anyway we can get together.

Thanks, Unfortunately I won't be traveling that way any time soon. I'll keep looking around for a safer bet, but I am still interested. Just wondering how much room there is to move the seat back and how balanced it would be once I've done that? Hard to know without trying I guess!

Probably an inch or so. I'd just hate to see you buy a boat you can't get in.
