My question regards trim. I'm 50/50 parknplay & downriver play. When at rest my bow is 3" above water, tail 3" below. Flat when i lean fwd, and ive no trouble sinking bow. Paddling soft kor. Any one have opinions on optimal trim? Thanks

So I also have one boat and paddle downriver and destination. I don't like to think about trim in terms of how above/below the surface my bow/stern is, rather I want the boat as low as possible as long as it still accelerates with a couple of strokes. That's the big thing to me. Does it still accelerate when it has to? It needs to be slinky, and not too low that it becomes sluggish. My 2 cents.

Great tip from Ed: wedge a bit of foam into stern, to press out deck and gain a bit of stern volume.. Works lke a charm.
