The Mtn. Surf Angst Limberdeck

We are calling this skirt the "fat lip". It evolved out of experiments Jimmi Snyder was doing with pneumatic (inflatable) rims. Final shape matching was done by Jessie Whittemore.

The skirt is constructed similar to Mtn Surf's Limberdeck. The difference is that a wrap of material goes around the core cording before the final wrap of coated neoprene. What this does is increase the diameter of the lip. This increased diameter will fill the space under the cockpit rim tighter.

This additional material in this area inhibits water from shooting under the rim more than a traditional skirt would.

The upper skirt is a standard limberdeck. The lower skirt is the fat lip.

We feel that this is definitely the driest skirt commercially available today.

This skirt is in stock now in popular sizes. The skirt was designed around the parameters of the angst rim and a hand laid cockpit. It fits most popular squirt shapes like the: Angst, Shred, Bigfoot, and Underdawg and is compatible with either hand laid or molded rims.
